Fleece is my favorite bedding material. Research has shown that cats prefer fleece to towels and other bedding materials.
I don’t usually get in a fight with other cats, even though I may hate them. I’ll try to avoid them even if that means I have to go on the floor instead of passing them to go to the litter box. Because I am a great hunter, I must keep myself safe and healthy.
Please don’t let me pee on your floor, clothing, or bed until I have been examined by a vet. Please talk to a vet if I’m not sick.
Like most cats, I can get bored and pudgy. If I don’t work, it is because I am not hungry. I’m a natural hunter and love to chase my kibbles and find hidden kibbles. I also enjoy canned food. Can cans are a treat. However, they taste just like wild ancestors. Although I might act like I want food all the time, it is because I used to hunt and spend a lot less time eating in the wild. You take away my hunting – finding food in hidden places, hunting it, eating small meals often, etc. – and I eat more. But, I really want to hunt more. This can also be called “play”. You may think that I am cute but it makes my body sluggish and makes me feel sick. The safe weight loss is something that cat vets (and many others) are familiar with. Cats can become so sick if they lose too much weight, it can lead to death. Please, help me!
We are connected and love each other if we lick each other, or if they lick me. Even the best of friends need their space and I prefer to be on my own at least 50% of the time. In the summer heat, I don’t like to share my bed with my friend. A fur coat is sufficient!
It is so horrible when people say that I am old. People live in the 90s and 100s with a healthy mind and body. I may be in pain due to arthritis, something else, or sick if I slow down. No matter how much I try to resist, please take me to the veterinarian. If they are unable to help, find another vet who can.
My favorite toy is a USED ponytail holder or hair scrunchy. You don’t have to worry about whether you are a man, bald or have very short hair. It’s easy to rub the scrunchy on your head, and then you can put your scent on it. Voila! It is important to note that I do not like eating food so the scrunchy should be tied on a string and used only when I am helping you.
My cat doesn’t vomit on a regular basis. You may experience it once or twice a month (don’t be silly, hairless Sphynx friends!) It may happen once a month or two, but it is more often than that and you know something is wrong. It is most likely that it occurs right after I have eaten. To avoid eating too quickly, you can simply spread the food on a flat plate and not eat it too fast. If I keep doing this, or it isn’t related, then it’s possible that I have a medical problem and will need to be seen by a veterinarian.
To protect myself against dangers, such as bigger hunters, I’m expected to look healthy as a cat. Even though I may act like I don’t want to go, I really hate change – unless I initiate it! I’m scared. I might act tough, but I don’t want anyone to know. I want to be with my family forever, or at least for as long as I can, and be happy and comfortable. Please take me to the vet so I can learn how to prevent any health problems, including the horrible bugs and worms. Also, to manage any health issues that may occur and ensure that I’m never in pain. I am perfect and shouldn’t ever feel pain.
